Check walking magazine subscription offers, we got one last year from trail magazine, for taking out a subscription to a magazine we read anyway.

I think they're great. At boiling water. But you can do an awful lot with boiling water.

Had one to try a couple of years ago, very limited in what you can cook

A better option though more expensive is

In cold weather you can invert the gas can to help performance (gas is crap in the cold), you can't do this with the Jetboil, plus the size of the pot means you can cook a good size meal. You can just buy the ETA pot and use on any stove, still very efficient :)

£20 for the pot, and as said, you can use it over a cheap gas stove :)

Tony , that was the one I was watching in ebay. The main reason for me to buy a jetboil is just for quick brews at work so size, packability and speed are important. The primus looks good but probably too big for my needs
