Hutton Roof Crags near Kirkby Lonsdale. A myriad of vanishing paths, inaccessible trees and huge limestone pavements. Did a bit of radio as well. Views across to Morecambe Bay, the South Lakes and Ingleborough.

Had a great day there today, did a geocaching route with the family. So easy to lose the way on the cattle trods! Great to see the neglected coppice coming back into rotation.

Great photos - thanks for that! Brings back some memories of bivying up there fairly regularly when I was at University nearby. One memorable night we were woken at about 2 AM by a group of loud people shining headtorches into our faces. Turned out it was the mountain rescue team on an exercise, and they had assumed that we were the 'casualties' - it took quite a long time to persuade them that we weren't!

Yup, lovely pics. The limestone pavement is gorgeous. Many years ago I was in the west of Ireland and went walking (if you can call it that) on the Burren. Amazing place.
