Help needed!!

Hi, i was wondering if anyone out there has ever read this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Botany-Day-...471937?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173655755&sr=1-22 as i,m looking for a book that covers plant ID using the leaves instead of the flowers, because i,ve got quite a few concerning plant ID by using the flowers. Or has anyone seen any books of that nature?.

Yes - I have this book and so does Fenlander. I rate it - but I don't know nuffink. Fenlander however is a lot more knowledgable than me and he rates it too!

I have the book as well. It looks at IDing plants at a different angle. It teaches you to identify features that are common to a particular plant family, then to think about IDing the individual features of species within each family.

No pretty colour pictures I am afraid, it is all drawings but they are clear.

I found it helpful but it is a book you have to work at.
