Narrow boating.. It’s the folk on’t cut’ that make it what it is. A unique bunch halfway between potentially living a simpler life & every day living in the modern world.
There’s a lot of misconception thinking it’s an ideal life to get into for one reason or the other..yet find out they can’t hack it when the rain & cold sets in & things go wrong? For me I found it relatively simple.
The natural world is at my doorstep & the sky’s are big..
I find that my bushcraft skills go hand in hand when I’m out..think foraging/hunting & plenty of felled trees to make a log torch with.
