Hello from Suffolk

Just joined so wanted to say hi to all you fellow bushcrafters. I live nr Ipswich in Suffolk, UK. My main interest is canoeing (see Song of the Paddle forum) which is how I got interested in bushcraft. Would like to do a few more wild camps and be a bit more self sufficient on these trips.

I've made a few knives with help from the British Blades forum and then got into doing some leatherwork for the sheaves and have just completed another recently for my axe.

I am in NW part of Suffolk. I also have an interest in combining canoeing and new found bushcraft skills. So if you see a fellow canoeist rubbing two wooden paddles together, its probably me.

Thanks for the welcome. I see both Shewie and Fruit Loop are SoTP'ers too. I had a quick look at Fruit Loop's blogg of the Little Ouse, I've done some of the that too (between Thetford and Brandon) - a nice river but for some reason a huge amount of bikes, scooters and even a car dumped in it.
