Hello everyone, my name's Rachel and I'm 31 from Birmingham

Am looking at doing some wild camping in Scotland (Stonehaven) later in the year for the first time. I already have a bit of camping gear, would just need to top up on the rest of it, etc. I will no doubt be posting a lot of noobmonkey questions at some point

Looking forward to getting to know people, and getting more involved in the forums!

I have a question regarding the camping in Stonehaven actually, but I understand I don't have regular posting privileges yet. Does anyone know when I will, or is anyone willing to suffer a couple of PMs from a newcomer?

welcome aboard my in-laws are down in quinton so have spent quite a bit of time down there. Camping near Stonehaven shouldnt be a problem what with the Scottish outdoor access code we have up here

Ooh you're all so welcoming nice to see, some forums may as well have a 'warning: toxic waste within' sign on them hahahaha. Glad to hear that Stonehaven is 'free' so to speak, as well. It looks perfect for beginners, because where I wanna go is close enough to a town so that if I stuff up I have somewhere to go at least. That makes me feel slightly less stressed about planning the whole affair!
