Guy tensioner broken..Which knot??

If you dont have those little plastic tensioners then how do you secure your guy lines with the ability to be tightened/loosened at will.

Basicaly im asking which knot can replace the tensioner and how is it used??

In this pic the cord disappears off to the left ties on to your tarp/tent and the loop formed at the right goes around your peg. You then pull the whole knot to the left to tension and to the right to loosen, simple.

Ahh, I put tensioners at both ends...

Just 'cos I can, plus I set my tarp up like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjMmla9DSzo
And you need the tensioners at both ends to get the thing tight
