Heh, they are quite funny but I can imagine Woodlore mightn't be too keen.
My ex-flatmate said he'd like one to wear at festivals. So would I to be
honest. :)

How about a bit more subtlety though - "...handcrafted this shirt from grylled
bear" or something like that.

Or even just "is good withies* hands" :D

Jo

*obviously I'd have to put a little "b-doom-tish" on the back of the t-shirt
somewhere.

Someone mentioned copyright or whatever, I do not think that this would apply.

Added to which, I want one. The phrase's, "When I was in Special Forces" and "I broke my back in three places"..............sorry, it gets up my nose........I could rant.

Ok, ok, so I watch Bears proggies - but only to criticise them, the other night the wife (she hates the sight of Bear) said "the funny thing is, Ray Mears is probably behind the camera as a technical adviser".

Just been watching these Grilled Bear proggies and I was amused to note that in the end credits there is a "Survival Expert" listed and it's not Mr Special Forces.

Anyways, put me down for 7 of these shirts (1 for each day of the week!) :)

There could a copyright issue regarding the image.

And its also possible that both Ray and Bear have registered their names (and likenesses) as trademarks.

True. But, there is also a law that allows any photograph taken in [from] a public place to be used for whatever.........thats how the paparazzi get away with it.

Yes I have checked, the name RAY MEARS is registered as a trademark:

ref; TM No. 2318861

as; Mark Text: Ray Mears

including; Class 25: Articles of clothing, footwear, headgear.

A registration for BEAR GRYLLS I could not find.

It could be that the Class 25 registration that Ray has is for items sold under his brand name and not for items simply adorned with the commonly in use Christian and surnames which he has.
