Frosts Mora sheaths

Here's a couple of Mora Sheaths I've put together recently:

This one is quite deep, keeping the knife very secure;

this one is a bit shorter in the "collar" giving easier access to the handle;

The thing is, well they were lying around......and I got the doodle bug! ( I only did the one)

How did you get all the dimples in it? Did you dampen the leather and tap somthing pokey onto the leather. Stamping it essentially.

You dampen the leather, although in this case, not too much. I am not too keen on stamping the leather, I prefer to "push " the tools into it.
The tool i keep going back to is made from the metal end of a propelling pencil, a 2mm allen key and an ancient razor saw handle. ( last of the summer wine again:D )
I'll knock up some pictures of it a little later;)

Once again, thank you all for your kind comments:notworthy

very nice artwork! ever considered re handling the knives?

Thank you very much;
I thought about having a go but decided not to. Not really sure why to be honest:bluThinki
I don't have much of a workshop as such,tending to do a lot of my stuff out in the garden.
I've made a few knives of different sorts but I always end up back at carving or leatherwork.

Cheers
