When I first joined in 2005 I posted a query about someone I had spent all afternoon with making a flint arrowhead and trying friction firelighting (original thread http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8671&highlight=flint+napping+glastonbury) and although there were many views despite my spelling mistake, I did not get any replies.
I managed to solve the mystery myself this weekend, I went to Glastonbury again and spent a most pleasant couple of hours making a flint hand axe with none other than William Lord son of John.
