Sat here watching some fisherman out my window looking all snug & dry in the cold rain/wind in a good sized bivvi tent system.
Looks to be a round base, straight sided, domed roof affair.
I’m just curious if any one has used one for woodland or general camping & what’s your thoughts?

I've used one for fishing. They can be very heavy and cumbersome things, well built though. Probably a good option for a static car camp affair, they tend to be built around ease of use. If you have a go outdoors locally they will probably have some on display.

I bought this monkey and its overwrap
and used them at the bushmoot. Bit heavy but acres of space n headroom. Plus ripstop nylon fabric and 10,000mm HH each layer. A 2" airgap between layers so no condensation but holds heat in. A HD detachable ground sheet too. A very durable base camp / permanent hidden residence if that's your thing
