This was a piece of vine (driftwood) that had been twisted around some pine resin....difficult to whittle an image but got something of a screaming ghoul out of it!!

Those are some really lovely woodspirits, like those all a lot, particularly like the ones in the walking sticks.

Yeah the Flexcut is a crackin` tool and keeps it`s edge for ages! Thanks for the comments folks, got a few more spirits on the way but away at work for the next few weeks so they`ll have to wait.
