fast riving method

I came across this german method to rive long logs for to make post's and rail's. The operator makes it look easy he has enough power to use the wedge as a froe when he pulls it towards the cab. It would take me 3 or 4 minutes to do one of those 12 foot logs with steel wedges and a maul, he does it in seconds. Mind the logs are all straight and clear which makes it easy and less likely to run off
