So, with Fallkniven selling their last few S1 Blanks and every intention to discontinue the line is it worth getting a couple for investment sake? After all a nice S1 with wood/micarta scales is a beautiful thing :)

If you look back on BB you see that the S1 was only £55 not that long ago and it now commands a higher price (c£130 new). Maybe this blade will have (small) investment potential?

Any thoughts?

liked them when they were a reasonable price but havn'tn thought them worth it for quite some time

I have a feeling the design will still be avalible but in a diffeent steel

Yeah, it's not too big, not too small. Pretty much an ideal one knife carry IMHO

Yep, agreed. Nice usable grind on them too, better for wood than the more convex F1 for example, and not so heavy and unwieldly as the A1, a good package all round I reckon.
