Elm burl leuku

Here are some pics of my latest leuku style knife.

The handle is made from elm burl finished with linseed oil and wax. The bolster is bone and the pin is silver steel. The blade is ground from 3mm O1.

I made a wooden liner for the sheath which was a first for me and I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.

It's a perfect example of clean, simple, design. It needs nothing added and nothing removing, a clean, elegant, but most of all, workmanlike tool!
