Hi Rev,
I have the Tundra (the cotton one) and it really is a superb tent. mine is the tundra 4 and it has a 4mt footprint, so is pretty huge. the build quality on the is first rate, mine has stood up to some pretty harsh weather, wind and rain and snow etc.
As for the price, i reckon it seems like a bargain when you compare it with the tentipis at over a grand.
My only concern with the polyester ones would be using it with a stove as they are prone to melting from sparks, but over all, i'd certainly go for it.
(i did do a review on here several years ago, might be worth a search)
