I wanted to make my dutch oven a bit more versatile and portable by using it to cook on a charcoal stove.
Here's the culprit......

and here's the stove....

I wanted to be able to cook stews ect so I had to make a giant pot cosy....

The dutch oven sits very nicely on top....

So without further ado, light up fry up,chop up and experiment.....

Giant simmer ring on top of the stove to dissipate some of the heat.....

Pot cosy on and walk away......

It went for 4 hours on one charge of charcoal and worked a treat.:D I deliberately didn't use a wind break as I wanted to keep the heat as low as possible.
Just got to let it cool, bag seal it up and it's bacon and chorizo stew for lunches in the van next week.
This will also be used for car camping on sites where no fires are allowed.

Bubble pack for the pot cosy was it, how did it fair in the heat ?

Nice stove firs time you've used it? Not seem them before really.

Nothing melted and it was tucked right down by the stove.Good old Aldi bargain held together with exhaust tape.
