Dug out some info

Hi all

I dont know what you guys and girls keep in your personal survival tin, but, I was sorting some stuff the other day and found a journal of when I was once deep in the ****.

All I relied on was my survival tin and was close to water, I found for some reason that I had included a curtain wire ring ( the thing that screws in the end of curtain wire to attach to a hook ) in the kit.

This turned out to be one of the best things I put in the tin, screwed into the end of a long branch with ( from my tin) fishing line tied to the hand end of the branch basicaly made a castable fishing rod.

Dont wanna teach any of you guys to suck eggs but helped me , so just a thought....

Well it turned a branch into a fly rod, long time ago but acording to the journal, i ate well.
