Day out in the woods

Had a great day out looking round some woods.

Some great fungi about as well

Me and the boy stopped for a spot of lunch

Then carried on exploring to the cries of " I'm here I'm not lost!"

Found a few benches been made by some chainsaw wielders

Left it how we found it but did borrow it for another tea/snack stop...
Great few hours..

Nice one mate! And I think the fungus is a dryads saddle that looks a bit worse for wear .

There were lots of others more field mushroom looking (white) loads in fact.

Lovely woods, used to spend a bit more time there.

Thanks Woods yeah it's strange seeing quite so many leaves on the trees still as we go in November. Just wish we had the wide open wilderness/forest you guys enjoy.

looks lovely m8, nice time!

yup i'd noticed the leaf thing too.....thought i was imagining it.....most of the trees round here are still green as green can be.....the various growing things in my garden are still looking fresh as anything....a few are barely turning yellow....
