Did anyone else watch it this weekend?
There was a nice woodworky bit towards the end about coracle making,
charcoal and a general 'Ironbrige Woodland experience' at The Green
Wood Centre: http://www.greenwoodcentre.org.uk/
This is Countryfile's website:

I also watched "The trees that made Britain" last night (me watch too
much television, no!) and lo and behold they were making charcoal on
that too. It reminded me that when I was at Kew this weekend I spotted,
in the Plants and People exhibition, that they have developed their own
sustainable charcoal for sale - and called it Bar-B-Kew.

I like to think that whoever came up with that name felt really pleased
with themselves
Anyway, hooray for British Summer Time - Greenwich Park is open until 8
and I am off to walk through it with my handy laminated guide to trees.
