I have been doing alot of chip carving on my spoons recently, these two are from Cherry.

Thanks guys, Thanks Heath hope all is well with you and everyone.
Chip carving is just removing a thin slice of wood to add detail to the work, you can also do triangles and other detailed patterns like in the youtube video.
