Car boot sale finds, what do you want??

  • Hey Guest, Early bird pricing on the Summer Moot (29th July - 10th August) available until April 6th, we'd love you to come. PLEASE CLICK HERE to early bird price and get more information.
As I live near quite a good car boot sale, and I get there fairly early on Sunday morning (straight after nightshift:yikes:) Theres often some quite good bargains to be had !!
(Now i've said that there'll probably be nowt :lmao: )
I know some of you are not that fortunate and dont have bootsales nearby.......So
Is there anything that you want me to be on the lookout for ???

I already look for-
- ex-MOD kit
-stoves
-camping stuff
Toolwise, there are often grubby toolboxes full of stuff, and I see quite a few files and Auger drill bits, the old style like in the pic below

Anybody looking for these(they wont be shiny!)?? or any other tools?

I never pay a lot, (I was born and brought up in Yorkshire!)
So anything picked up will be the price I paid plus postage, or available for trade :)
What do you think/want?

cheers, Mike

Brass primus type camping stoves please :)

Rik, I came across one of the little ones, minus it's stand up pot holders, in it's original box (pretty kicked looking) in the shed not long since.
I've no idea whether it's sound or not, but if you want it I'll post it down.

cheers,
Toddy

Thanks for the kind offer.

Any SAKs at decent prices maybe? I'd certainly be interested if there were any. I'd like one to practice modding on. There's never anything at the boot sale near where I live.

Best Wishes
David

Just got back in, the heavens opened up and that was it, most of the booters started to pack up and go :yikes:
I still managed an hour of bargain hunting before the rain and got a few bits and bobs, sadly no files though :(
I 'll post a quick list up then get some kip (I hate nights:banghead::banghead: )
no stoves or SAKs around this week ....
but picked up -
- hammers
-a couple of hand drills
-Auger bits
-small canvas rucksack
-net hammock
-webbing belt
-BCB pioneer map case
-Axe head
pictures to follow later..
cheers,
Mike :)

Real long shot but I had a waxed cotton Barbour countryman bag which was stolen when my car was broken into, I'd love another one if you happen to see any.

I'm late posting Sundays results from the bootsale, the youngsters birthday party took some recovering from?:lmao::lmao:
Not much to show , but not bad for an hour (party mentioned above to go to!)
Sorry nothing from the wanted list...
..but did manage to get some files and a spare hammer handle (most of the files new and unused :yikes: so they are going into my toolbox  far too good to use as knife blanks)
A gaggle(?) of auger drillbits
A pewter tankard (for knife handle spacers)
A British army flak vest body armour cover
A nice little axe, (made in Sheffield by C.T.Skelton, so locally made )
