Oh wow... wonderful pics of your son. My first child is due in a few weeks. And here I was thinking I'd have to be on my lonesome on nights out for a time to come. It's exciting to think the baby can come too :-D

I'm nervous about taking my 4 year old out for her first wild camp.... Maybe I should just get on with it.

kids are more robust than we all think and many moons age your 4 yr old would of been out every night, it takes a bit of planning to make sure you have everything they will need but it is doable

Next weekend is a big possible. The window of opportunity for 2011 is getting smaller temps wise around here.

Looks like you guys had fun thanks for sharing.

The youngest we ever took our kids camping was 3 for my little girl and 1 for my wee boy and they loved it. If we ever have another we will go earlier. I find that with the wee ones just means a little extra planning to make sure they stay warm and you have plenty of changes for clothes ect.
