Jason Sears and I are trying to get an informal bushcraft group up and going in the South Bucks area (see his post 'South Bucks meetup?'). Jason is in contact with landowners at a couple of sites trying to organise permission for regular use. We generally tend to meetup mid-saturday afternoon and have a go at basic bushcraft stuff such as shelter building or fire by friction until it gets dark, when we get a fire going and have a few beers. We are pretty careful about tidying up after ourselves when we are finished with a site each time so as to leave little sign that we were there. If you are interested in coming along its best to contact Jason as he is really behind it all - I'm just posting this as a second party to show that we are on the level.
