Bushcraft for Kids near Bath...?

Our family is looking for a bushcraft club or similar (something like Woodfolk) near Bath for children. We live south of Bath so the nearer the better. Our 7 year old daughter loves the outdoors and would love to join a group soon after Easter.

Is there anyone out there who could help?

My brothers kids went on a bushcraft weekend somewhere down that way. They live in the Publow / Pensford area. I can't think of the name of the school though.

I`ll give him a ring tomorrow and see if he can dig out the newspaper clipping they kept.

i know a few schools and clubs use rocks east woodland just north of bath for bushcraft weekends you might be able to get some info from them they also allow campfires there with camping, very nice couple run it. no connection, just used this place before.

Did you mean 'like Woodcraft Folk'? They have an Elfin Group in Bradford on Avon

As far as I know Woodfolk is a commercial outfit but I could be wrong.

Hi,

Goblin Combe have 'Go Wild in the woods' in May half term and summer hols for 3 weeks. Its great for kids to play in the woods learn some new skills or improve on some already known. There are arts and crafts too. I deliver these and many other sessions at Goblin combe and various other sites for kids and adults.
