People laugh at me for always having some kind of basin when I go woods loafing, but I enjoy life more being clean.

There are more ways to be clean than just grabbing a shower.

Even cleansing in smoke is preferable to me to my sweet stink.

Anyway, I currently have a 36 inch diameter inflatable baby wading pool that I carry with me.

There is if anything an over abundance of water where I live and play so I inflate it and fill it and if necessary either solar warm it or add boiling water to it and scrub.

One thing I learned in 3rd world countries and really anywhere, Soap isn't a luxury, it is a medicine / preventative and disinfectant.

It is one of the first lines of defense of ones body health to be clean. Sometimes nature places limits on that, but the cleaner one stays the healthier on average IMHO.

A good thick towel / dew rag is a cheap and valuable friend in the bush. Has at least 101 Uses.

Sometimes I have wished for a towel about the size of a King sized bed, triple thickness or so. Maybe do double duty as summer blanket and towel?
