hi all
can anyone help me as i was reading a magazine recently and saw a book about a guy who decided to live off the land by hunting and foraging.i'm sure the title did included some like living off the land for a year

you should try to get hold off a book from the 70s called "The year long day" absolutely brilliant book about a guy who lives in a cabin in the arctic circle and lives by hunting the trap lines.

Its so easy to read and is funny at times, he has run ins with polar bears and befriends a arctic fox for company.
