UPDATE - The main upgrade is now finished. The site should now be functioning as normal, I will be making tweaks over the weekend, particularly to look of the site. If you notice something is broken or have any comments please let me know.
One department in somewhere that I doubt anyone could find without Google Maps...and then the warning is picked up in a dozen places, more or less word for word. Maybe it isn't a bad idea since it is the first time that someone could doctor the date by just a couple of years...not a suspicious decade or two. However, if it was a serious threat I would hope to have heard it picked up by other, larger and more prominent police forces.
I just read the comment and thought it timely.
Having read a lot of documentary evidence of the past, to use the full date was definitely more normal in the days of real ink.
It's our prediliction for contraction that's the issue
