bison tipi

Hi , I am thinking of getting one of the Bison tipis , have read on a couple of threads that they can have leak problems, does this go away once you have proofed them with some Nikwax? Also, any opinions on the nylon or the polycotton versions?

You might want to speak to Ogri The Trog. I think that he's got one of these and had it a while so his experiences may serve you well.

You don't get any leaks with the lighter weight bison tinde's that are made of silnylon. I have a Tinde 8 and it has never leaked.

Not silnylon, ripstop polyester. No leakage in my lavvo at least.
