If he's just got back that means he had reasonable weather, unlike this week when it is quite wet

Glad your son enjoyed his visit, maybe he'll let you come on the next trip?

He found the "bowler and umbrella" really good to keep the sun off his noggin :lmao: , weather was fine for most of his trip except for the last few days but he enjoyed (was looking foreward) that part also. More vertical than horisontal but fine Scotish weather :D
He really enjoyed the museums, castles, palaces, historical monuments; he is a real history buff.
Enjoyed the English "Bobby" that took time out and had a chat and picture when he found out he was Canadian :You_Rock_
Enjoyed Loch Ness and surrounding area a lot, next visit will spend more time in Scotland to get the "feel" (we have Scotish blood in us)
Promised to go back in a few years, I told him to stay longer next time, could he get work in the UK? He is a Psych. RN.
Will post pictures when jet lag dissipates.

That's the difference between fine weather and bad weather up here - whether the rain is vertical or horizontal. ;) :D
