Guess who's just run into a tree bough that had at some stage had wire wrapped round it?

Two big dings in the edge of my blade, one minor one... Cut the wire mind you.

It was my "remodeled" Dartmoor, which does all my "choppy" tasks.

Sorting this out using stones is not going to be fun.

Sounds like the course stones are coming out. If you need info on the factory finish just ask.
How have you remolded it?

I just reprofiled the edge consideably, Sort of a double bevel but there's a marked tapering of the angle towards the rear of the blade. The idea was to provide a couble of different edges.

Absolutely no sign of it till I hit it, was covered in moss-y stuff.

I've now ground out the damage, but there's absolutely no edge there at all...ho-hum.
