An important lesson learnt after making my first spoon

... when you start out making your first proper spoon, consider that when you come to use it to stir fry something later, the handle may be so short that your hand gets spattered with very hot oil!
Apart from that minor design snafu, I was reasonably pleased with it.
Next one will have a w-a-a-a-y longer handle!

Chicken - that became a chicken tikka masala, and it was delicious. I felt rather self-satisfied cooking dinner with a spoon I'd made myself. Definitely going to do some more - with longer handles ;-)
