A slower trundle round the Odiham area, and A CASTLE!!!!!PIC HEAVY

I decided to go for a trundle over to the Greywell tunnel on Sunday, I have read about it but never seen the entrance, it is now the farthest point of the Basingstoke canal you can reach by canoe, as the tunnel collapsed quite a few years ago, I also stopped off at Odiham castle, here some int on that Tawit tawooooooooo!

Looking back towards my house on the other side of the hill,

this is pretty much it, I suppose once the vegetation dies back a little youll be able to see more, but as its a bat haven it wont be messed with a great deal, still nice to see a piece of our engineering history

So much HB growing along the banks,

In to the breach once more!

Then off I went home for tea and slippers,

I was there 29 years ago, lived in Long Sutton for about 12 months

Its one of those lovely places to keep coming back too, though since the Crown ceased to be a pub it is almost devoid of good pubs Untill you get to the Water
witch of course just off to the station gym if you guys want to come along
