A friend lent me his wood for a few days so I did some hammocking and carving

Do you start out with an idea or does it just develop once you start hacking lumps off? Particularly with the bottom one, I never imagine anything like that when I start.

Rich, I rarely have much idea what the end result will be, I start with axe/adze and then follow the wood.... which has lead me to some weird shapes
