3 in 1 jacket

Am after a 3 in 1 for generally day to day use. Nearly got one from sports direct a karrimor but read some really bad reviews. My budget is £60- 70. Is the above linked peter storm one any good. I know dedicated Waterproof and mid layers will perform better for serious outdoors use but find this type of jacket more convenient for generall day to day use.

Peter storm stuff formed the basis of my outdoors kit before i started more 'bushcrafty activities. Never had any complaints kept me dry wandering around on dartmoor.
Not had experience with specific jacket but the brand was good five or six yrs ago. Dunno what its like admittedly but a good history

Iirc Peter Storm is millets own brand.

My first outdoor trousers were from there. Still going strong 12yrs later.

Yup Peter storm is millets own brand.
Only reason i stopped using my stuff is Erm.......well i'd like to say it shrunk in wash but i would be fibbing

Well my mistake it was blacks outdoors in the metrocentre not millets but not been there for 10 years. Anyhow they also had the coat and i got one. I know its not up to the standards of some of the more expensive brands but so far looks like a good buy. Sadly we don't all have cash to spend on top end gear. My boss has a bmw and northface gear. I ride the bus. Will post a review after a couple of weeks use.
