I've been looking into getting a Hennesy for a while, my thoughts on keeping warm in colder weather would run along the lines of a 3/4 length pad made from polyester batting that wouldmould to my shape and replace the thickness of the bottom of the bag lost due to compression.

You'll see a lot of discussion of Valiant stuff over on the Outdoor forum. Some excellent reviews as well, I've been looking at one of the Golocks myself.

I was given mine when a local paper did a piece about the place where I work, it went along the lines of "for all your tyre needs talk to the tyre guru Shaun" :yikes: and it stuck, along with gooey, etc.

The ability to improvise and use the drill set is important, but so is the process of refining the components, using what you have to hand.

Hi Adi
Where did you get the Charge from? How much lighter does it feel than the Wave?, I've been waiting on these since the SHOT show

10 year old leather Fedroa, now well used and abused, wooly hat in the winter. Ive been looking at the Akabura, but want one with a narrower brim (like me old 'un  ).

Usually 1 58Patt bottle and a 2L bottle of bottled water ( I buy in bulk I get through about 4L a day) so there is always some by the door as I go out. Now what we need is a drinking hose kit to fit standard 2L PET plastic bottles, they are everywhere  .
