    Blackberrys?

Had a rubbish crop in my back garden, but a great crop down by my GF's allotment - seems to be a bit variable... Needless to say I have a big kilner jar of bramble vodka on the go, and looking forward to the sloes being ready too :-)

    Snugpack Response Pack

I'm not up for the cheap ones - not keen on the colour compared with the Snugpack ones, and they definitely look quite a bit cheaper.. Since we'll not be going with the group buy I'll look into getting a Snugpack separately... Thanks for making an effort to try and arrange something though... :)

    Snugpack Response Pack

I might be up for one in Olive Green - they look pretty useful for adding some flexibility to a carrying system..

    Long Distance Rucksack

Depending on how light-weight you're going, might be worth a look at an Osprey Exos 46 or 58, depending on how big the sleeping bag is... I saw one of the 46's demoed at the Outdoor Show by Paddy Dillon and I'm pretty tempted (it's orange and grey though, be warned! ;-) ) Not sure about the...

    Luxuries?

Blow up pillow iPod hip flask of jamesons some dark chocolate digital camera book (or 2, or 3 :D ) 'comfort bottle' to avoid late night 'excursions' light-weight footwear (i.e. something, anything, that isn't hiking boots!) Hmmm, no wonder my bag seems to be a bit heavy :puppy_dog lol

    A good wide-brimmed hat?

Couple thoughts about the cotton Tilleys - I love mine to bits, but it does get a bit damp when out camping - something to consider... Needs some significant re-stretching when it gets like that.. Otherwise can't fault them - hard wearing and very comfortable.. I picked up one of the hemp ones...

Time for a new compact camera.....

Hey Rich.. Combination of not getting sorted with the whole forum password snaffu, and being mind-numbingly busy at work last year - basically nonstop for 9 months to deliver something in time for xmas.. :(

Time for a new compact camera.....

That's a lovely photo BR... What sort of settings do you use? My attempts at moon shots tend to come out over-exposed... :(

Nice one, thanks Andy... I was just not putting the top one of the small end plates on, but it's optional where it is dependent on wind etc... :)

Woodland Edge Firebox/ Stove Group Buy

Received mine today :) Thanks again for arranging order Mick/David/Matt.. ;) No assembly instructions with mine , but think I've figured it out by looking at the photos on the woodland edge site, with the exception of a small end piece with a couple very small tabs - can't work out what...
