Does anyone know anything about "RIBZ" - front carriers/pockets for use with a pack?

I have both the small and medium size ones but find I use the small the most. Had them for over a year and found they are great to carry my navigation kit from a GPS down to the compass. Also carry some GORP a field dressing and CAT (working with Parangs in the jungle)plus any other nice stuff...

    Hammocks

Also just wondering that if you are leading a jungle expedition would you have already been to the jungle and have your kit squared away? Im not questioning your skill in bushcraft but jungle is very different to a temperate climate and you have to have a different mindset when working in that area.

Lieutenant General David Morrison - A bollocking of the good sort.

During my training in the army (UK) in the 80's I never once cleaned a toilet block with my tootbrush. We went to the NAFFI and got the propper cleaning equipment. The whole cleaning using your tootbrush is a myth. Did use boot polish on the black bakerlight bog seats though to get that mirror...

    Sabre 45 or 75?

I have both due to the winter and summer thing and the extremes of temp change in some places in Oz. So when it gets cold and I need the UQ for the hammock and the snugpak K6 sleeping bag I move up to the 75. Saves having to compress everything and try to push it in to the bergan with your foot...

No Back Packs In the Range...

I like to sometimes challenge a shop when I am asked to show the inside of my bag. I ask the shop person at the door when I am exiting if they have any reasonable cause to suspect me of shop lifting as I feel that is only the reason to want to look in your bag. If they say no then I start to...
