    Powdered Egg and Tinned Cheeses

    Where can I get hold of these? Someone mentioned tesco for the eggs, but it doesn't show up on the home shopping site - then again , neither did powdered milk, so I think the search engine is a bit cack. Cheers in advance for any help

    Jews Ear

    Has anyone ever tried this? I boiled some for 45 minutes (apparently thats minimum to make them soft enough to eat), and found them to be completely tasteless. Worst was that they had the texture of latex covered in slime. Yukk.

    Its just at the idea stage at the moment. I've looked into keeping them, what to feed them and all the rest of it. Also know about the 8 day purging as well - what I need to know is, I've heard rumours that you have to gut them as well - is this true? and Do you have to cut the foot off...

    Does anyone know if these are edible? I think I have a whitebeam tree in the garden. I've looked on the internet and all I find is references to birds liking to eat them, but also a whitebeam berrie wine recipe. ???
