Making ferro rods - help needed

Forest_Girl gives good advice. When I made a batch, I also drilled a wee bit deeper ( 2-3mm ) , this creates a well for the epoxy resin to fill and creat a better bond all round. As for the lanyard, all I did was drill a hole for the cord to pass through, prior to doing that I lightly...

    Will it? Won't it?

These "reports" seem to be appearing every year. The Daily Fail is another tabloid guilty of doing this. It's done primarily to catch attention and sell the paper. As for the accuracy, you have more chance of finding two identical snow flakes. :-)

    Take down bow saw

I actually had it originally in the centre but that was stopping the blade from turning properly into the rebated sides when broken down. The size is still the same, I used pan head slotted screwbolt, they are quite big headed, reason? I can use a coin to turn the slots if needed. Pete

More than likely Tom. Be handy as I intend to attach to outside of the 'sack. Sure I have some spare canvas that can be fashioned into a sleeve carry bag, lol, be that or some ripstop nylon. Pete
