Hey man, I'm in the same boat. Currently in year 12 and looking to go to hadlow.

I did very well this year! A GB Swedish carving axe, a small Brusletto carving knife and to top it off a lovely frost river summit expedition pack!

I have a bushlore that is my main knife when I'm out in the woods. Mine came pretty sharp and holds a decent edge.
As others have said the handle does require a bit of work, but nothing that would put me off buying a condor again.

I have the trekking axe and it is a great axe for the money. I have also just ordered the huntung axe which should be here tomorrow or friday.
It has the bit of extra legnth and different shape head, and i just wanted a new axe really...
I can give you some comparisons when it gives here.
