    Two way radios

Chirp is easy to use. I have some 888's and they are handy little sets. Most 446 radios have the same range - it all depends on conditions. You will struggle to penetrate a mile of woodland, and probably fail altogether with rolling hills at half that range... Unless you get high end or are in...

    Two way radios

I have some UV5's and I know loads of other people who use them too. Fantastic kit and can handle lots of rough use and drops! Legally you need a licence. If you set it at low power however it won't output much past .5 watt as the massively lie about the power to begin with - these 5watt radios...

    *The* Gift-It-On Thread

Hello! It is one of these - http://www.ddhammocks.com/product/sleeper and I have found the little bag it goes it and thus it is complete. It is used once however, and has been washed. I also think that part of the hood seam has come loose - doesn't impact the use of the bag. AS I mentioned, I...

    *The* Gift-It-On Thread

This still going? I have a used once DD Hammocks sleeping bag liner thing (without the crappy little bag it came in!) that I have no use for if that is a good item for this? Totally useable but not to anyone over 6' 2!

    British Army Ration Packs

I doubt they have a disposal certificate - they aren't disposed by the MOD are they? And no, from what the chap said there are ten diff menu's in each case. Also they will be out of date - I've never had an in date one. Never had a problem either. If they were in date they would probably be...

    British Army Ration Packs

Hello chaps. I always use ration pack food when I do hiking because they last for years and can be eaten hot or cold... I'm not a forager! They are really expensive and I get a few here and there of eBay but I messaged the last chap I brought from and he told me he will sell me 10x 10...

Snugpak Sleeper Light or Arctic Bag

I have a British Army arctic bag, it's in pretty excellent condition but has marks where my wife bloody used tape to keep it folded up and stored in the airing cupboard because I didn't have the comp bag for it! That said, it's never been washed or stored under compression and only used once or...

Hello I have two life saver bottles that are new. They come with the spare bits like the grease and strap etc. I brought these off eBay as a job lot of three - and am selling the other two in an effort to break even on the one I have kept for myself :) The one pictured is a 6000 but the...

    Bergen question

One thing to add on the MOLLE aspect is weight - I have a MOLLE covered back pack and I wonder how much extra weight is added by all the MOLLE. I have a similar sized pack without MOLLE and it weighs a kilo less!!

    Bergen question

If you can stretch to it, there are mixed reviews on the US ILBE pack which is an Arc Teryx design, and pretty big too. It has a hybrid frame. They appear on UK eBay some times. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
