My O1 knives vary from 18 to 24 degrees inclusive. O1 is a fantastic steel with a high edge stability. Just get the HT right.

Mark Hill is an incredible knife maker. I'm using my Mora Clone side by side with my Skookum and other handmade knives. It's one of the best knives I've used. His in house heat treatment is spot on. Great knife.

I had a few Axes from Wetterlings and one from Husqvarna.. I still have a GB SFA and a Fiskars X7. If you're tight on budget or simply don't want to spend much money on an Axe, I can totally recommend the Fiskars X Series.
