So I bought my self a nice knife blank from fieldcraft uk (on here)
It arrived very sharp with the brass pins, only costing me £27 delivered :)
I then bought myself some nice super grade curly birch scales and some blue liners to go with it.
I then proceeded to make the knife handle and here...

I am after a nice new, very warm, very comfortable and fairly lightweight down sleeping bag. I have around £200 to spend (can go over a little). The two sleeping bags I am struggling to decide against are... The Rab Ascent 900 or the Alpkit SH 1000...

so while im into this whole thread starting i thought i would show you my char-cloth.. i started off with an old pair of jeans and an empty .22 pellet tin.. this is one of the easiest things to make and is so handy when out and about.. i would defiantly try it your self if you already haven't...
So here is my first hobo stove.. i made this in a spare hour i had at work and i think it has come out quite nice!
Its made from a scrap bit of stainless pipe work and a bit of plate for the bottom.. i bought a 10cm zebra billy can and made the usual modifications to it..
