Cheers Robson, For sure its a base camp tent, if it takes about half hour to set up I would use it for just a few nights, cant see it taking that long that one would only use it for 2 weeks. not much heavier than bell tent etc. I like where the stove would be situated and how just that area...

Hello, couldnt find anything on the forum about these tents, I am considering it amoungst bell tents, just wondered if anyone has any experience of these? I can see that it will take longer to set up and probably need two people, however, I do like the lay out of the tent.

Just wondering if there is anything new on the market that is similar to the petromax fire box, weight not an issue, not looking for lightweight and small, just been away from scene for a while so not sure whats out there.

I had a sainsburys cast iron cassarole pot that gave up the ghost after a few years, whilst my hand me down Le Creusets are still going strong, only problem is they are too small for certain dishes. Given that a 6/7 litre Le creuset is stupid money I have been considering a more tradional ducth...

Thanks for all your feedback folks. There has been some good food for thought. A backpacks ability to carry in comfort will always be a priority over most other aspects for me, even short distances. fair do's, what would you say they are built for? Perhaps I can ask owners how far/long they walk with their packs and what sort of weight they carry and how they find them in terms of comfort. I notice Frost sell baskets to add structure to the pack, Anyone had any experience with them?

So there seems to be a lot of "reviews" about the beauty, build quality/materials used with these backpacks. However, what is the comfort like, what are they like to carry on a long trek fully loaded/half loaded? any long term use reviews?

These shirts come with clear instructions about hand washing or dry cleaning. I am just wondering how people have got on with cleaning theirs and if they have used any other methods?

Have any of you good folks had any experience with this companies tents, in particular the troop tent? I am looking at canvas alternatives to a bell tent and would like the option of putting a stove in. Main criteria is space and stability.
