I have been reading all of Angst's recent posts on his 201k additions with great interest.
Today I missed out on a hand crank "99" for the sake of £5 at a car boot sale. In reality I didn't know what I was really looking for or the true cost. What I thought would be useful if the more expert...
Considering getting one of these:

My German Army Poncho wetted out badly this week, admittedly in torrential rain. Its the rubberized version and looking at the label all I recognise is Polyamid and Polyurethane. Has anyone any experience/ advice on reproofing them?
I think I read on a previous thread someone using Plasti Dip...
Hi,
I am looking to get leather "Blanket" straps to attach to a Swiss Army Rucksack.
I'm thinking @60cm L, 20mm wide and 2-4mm thick (in dark brown).
Any ideas where to buy?
These normally seem to be in short supply - new batch on ebay today.

No connections etc....
Has anyone experience of the Belgium Army Wool Blanket?
I can get one considerably cheeper than a Dutch army equivalent, so I am wondering about quality.
I am thinking of getting a NEO AIR self inflating mattress - mainly for ground dwelling. I am wondering how suitable it would be as an insulating mat in a DD hammock? I am thinking noise may be a factor?
Anyone any experience of a NEO AIR mat with a hammock set up?
:naughty: Apologies been lurking for a while without introduction.
