Just spotted this in the Daily Mail; thoughts anyone?

I have recently purchased a Garmin Edge 800 for my mountain bike and I should have included the Ordnance Survey maps in a bundle but it's too late now. I'm looking to buy the Northern England one shown here...
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a decent but lightweight set of extendable tarp poles for a bike packing trip. I note that walking poles are often used but I'd rather have something without the handles so it packs away smaller.
Anyone have any recommendations?
I spotted this recently on Amazon and decided to buy one. Designed for toilet duties, very robust and a hollow collapsible handle in which to store a lighter and toilet paper.
What a neat idea! It even comes with a bag to carry it in. Excellent value for money...
Hi Guys,
My brother and I are planning a bikepacking trip across Wales within the next three months and we are gradually getting our kit together with the emphasis on lightweight. I am currently looking at two Bivvi's, this one...
Tried one of these on today and I can see how it would keep you as warm as toast in the vast outdoors and pack away to a tiny size. They are around £150 each though and I wondered if anyone knows of a similar product at a lower price point?
Hi Fellas. My brother and I plan to ride the Welsh coast to coast in a few months time on mountain bikes; probably in May. We wish to travel minimalistic and so we plan to take a tarp and either a bivi bag or hammock plus whatever other kit we might need. The plan is to find a quiet wooded...
Went for a nice six mile stroll over the fields on Saturday; after a two week holiday I just needed some exercise. Rain had been forecast and so I went forearmed with waterproofs in my bag and left my camera with telephoto lens at home.
Half way round I stop for a break in a hidden spot in...
For a long time I have loved the look of the Enzo Birk 75 but I hated the fact that the scales did not fully cover the liners and so I never purchased one. I recent comment by Dennis at Brisa on one of the forums here had me take a second look and I pulled the trigger and purchased the lovely...
Anyone bought one of these and not using it? I'm interested in getting hold of one in XL size in Landmark Green. Let me know if you have one please.

.......this will be removed next week if it hasn't sold.
Spyderco Caly 3 Super Blue BNIB and never used. This knife it's rather like a backlock version of a UKPK. It has grey G-10 scales.

I paid £144 for this and it is now reduced...
I have a really comfortable lightweight pair of Meindl walking boots but they have leaked a couple of times recently. I'm now looking for something to replace them with. Basically I'm a light user doing typically one three hour walk over open countryside once a week. I have spotted these but...
I have just been on my usual Sunday walk today across local farmland. It takes me around 2.5 hours and because of the snow it was a test on my calf muscles as the snow was deeper than I had thought in places. I'm sure I will suffer tomorrow.
Anyhow, I counted no less than ten full grown hares...
I often go for a three hour hike at the weekends across open countryside and land that I have walked for many years. Last weekend I got huge shock. As I was walking along the side of a small copse I felt something move to my right and as I turned to see what it was I found myself staring...
For the second time I have returned from a long hike with wet feet despite wearing a pair of Meindl Gore-Tex lined boots. I usually give them a clean on my return, rinse them down and apply a frothy covering of Graingers G-Max Footwear cleaner. On the first occasion I applied the cleaner and...
I am interested in buying a digital camera suitable for nature photography and I guess including some form of zoom lens. I know very little about photography beyond pointing and shooting and so something relatively simple to use would be good. Would not want to spend more than say £150 ish...
Well a couple of months back I asked Ian (Longstrider on the BB website) if he would make me a new knife along similar lines to a Loveless Hunter with a few tweeks. I had seen one or two different pictures that gave me an idea of what I was looking for. Fortunately I pass his workshop every...
