It seems to me everywhere I go the waters are catch and release. Is it even possible to eat the fish you catch? Does one have to be sneaky about it or am I just never in the right place? I mean... this is Scotland after all.

Anyone use these? Mountain House is good but REALLY expensive at £5.50 a pack. Reiters is terrible and likely to give you a heart attack after a couple each day. Are there any other brands here in the UK? I like MOD rat packs but they're a bit heavy to carry around.
