    Just got a versipak after trying loads of different types,eg eastpak,jansport etc. Go for the maxipedition. I have already got the janus pouch to go with it. It has been commented on a few times and really allows for differenrt carry options for stuff. Wish i had bought the proper thing a lot...

    trousers for a big guy?

    Go for 5.11 tdu or cotton/ canvas. Sizing is good and comfortable and take a bit of abuse. Got two pair of here thanks paul and slowly rotating out my old craghoppers etc. Buy one of their belts and your setup for anything bushie or casual wear Cheers eugene
