    Thanks for all the replies guys, I guess I'll try and get a good condition army one then. I'll keep an eye on ebay and see.     Local Army/Navy store on the phone, just said they have the old and new ones (OD and Camo) for £49! This seems a bit rough, or is that reasonable?

    I'm on the lookout for a cheap bivi to use, probably with a tarp over it. I have seen used army ones on ebay, but I'm not sure how good they are. This one states that it uses a similar material to goretex, and is waterproof to 4000mm hydrostatic. Here It's only £15, what do you guys think...
